Job description
LG2 Toronto is looking for a Copywriter to join our team and partner with an Art Director in crafting innovative concepts that push the boundaries of brand communication. In this role, you will be involved at every stage of the creative process — from the initial brief to final production—proposing original ideas, writing high-caliber content, and ensuring the excellence of every deliverable. Beyond the work, you will contribute to internationally recognized creative campaigns while supporting and inspiring the next generation of talent within the agency.
Responsibilities
Concept Development: Generate original ideas and creative platforms that elevate the impact and presence of client brands.
Strategic Presentation: Articulate and sell concepts in a clear, persuasive manner to internal teams and clients.
Multi-Platform Writing: Craft compelling taglines, advertising copy, video/radio scripts, and diverse content across digital and traditional channels.
Creative Oversight: Maintain copy integrity and consistency through every phase of the production process.
Mentorship: Guide the professional development of junior creatives, providing constructive feedback and daily support.
Thought Leadership: Act as a strategic partner across disciplines, contributing to a culture of curiosity and excellence.
Business Development: Support growth initiatives by contributing to high-stakes pitches and new business presentations.

Production Fluency: Experience and confidence directing voice actors and on-screen talent during the production phase.
Cultural Curiosity: A genuine interest in the intersection of brands, digital media, and evolving cultural trends.
