Job description

The Account Supervisor is the operational lead on the team. They have responsibility for both the day-to-day execution and strategic thinking for their campaigns and projects. Their clients see them as the go-to on their business. The Account Supervisor is responsible for executional excellence and management of the day-to-day workflow.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-day business including complex situations

  • Flawless execution of projects from brief to completion, delivered on time and within budget

  • Build strong relationships with colleagues, clients and partners

  • Seek, nurture, and contribute to ensure best possible work gets sold

  • Understand the client’s business and processes, bringing this knowledge to the development of strategy and creative

  • Work with clients to identify key challenges/opportunities to grow client business

  • Manage assigned internal and external resources

  • Set objectives and priorities for the team; manage, coach and develop direct reports

  • Structure and prepare well-written POVs, decks and presentations

  • Present for client approval at all appropriate stages of creative and production

  • Obtain internal approvals at all appropriate stages of creative and production

  • Obtain estimates and oversee budgets

  • Participate in client meetings and presentations

  • Meet with AD on a regular basis to discuss client issues and propose solutions

Ideal Profile

  • Ability to deliver with a strategic lens on how the work is approached

  • Active leadership and participation in meetings

  • Independent problem solving

  • Thought leadership on the account and agency processes

  • Strong presentation skills to have a voice and a role in meetings

  • Flexible and adaptable to changes in projects, new information, resourcing

  • Passion for the industry and creativity

  • Ability to manage up on items like project status, challenges, workload, etc., while coming to the account lead with potential solutions

  • Clear, concise and logical writing for business

  • Active listening and critical thinking skills
